Progress report: 100% completed
Convert to Millky Way: 90% completed
As one of the Ultimate Quiz MOD beta testers, I can confirm that development of the new UQG is approaching Alpha stage. This means that it's still in testing stages but will be made publicly available for all webmasters to install on a "test" site for further testing before being finally released. The Alpha version is planned for release this weekend (8th August 2009).
Expect to see all the features that are already within the old UQG along with much more. Creating quizzes will be even easier. You can now set any number of questions that are straight true/false, multiple choice, input answers or mixture of all types. You will also be able to add images (like the "Know your road signs quiz"). This was originally hard to set up at the old site but now it will be even easier as you'll be able to preview any quiz you create before submitting it.
One annoying problem with the old UQG was that when you edited one of your own quizzes, you had to enter ALL the answers again. This is no more. The database will show all your answers and all you need to do is make your changes, preview it, then submit it.
Expect to see the countdown timer again too and this is now "fool-proof". You'll also be able to save a quiz too! Other words, half-way through a quiz and there's a knock at the door or the telephone goes? Save the game and you'll be able to return to it later. As usual, all player statistics will be recorded and a lot more.
Hopefully the above has whetted your appetite for more!
So with Hangman in early development, this game nearer to completion, the live chat room to be installed soon, as well as a new Screwball Extras to go in as well (it's completed, just needs moving from our test site to here), there's a lot to look forward to and you won't want to go anywhere else!

The developer is currently working on other projects at the moment but will be returning to finish off UQG soon after so hopefully not too long now!  _________________ If you don't ask....Viewing as a Guest? The first Beta version has been released and I'm presently working with battye (the MOD developer) in more testing and feedback. Although Ultimate Quiz Game MOD beta is not recommended for a live board (such as SS) due to possible bugs, etc, it WILL be installed here so that all members can have a go at creating and playing quizzes in order to attain more feedback and of course, more ideas to implement.  _________________ If you don't ask....Viewing as a Guest? UQM beta 2 has been released. Some more fine tuning and bug crunching to do. UQM will be installed in SS when beta 3 is released.
