Progress report: 25% completed
I'm still in the process of looking to transfer the Live chat room from Screwball Scrabble (our old site) to here but because of busy extremely busy of late, it's taking a little longer than anticipated. However, I am aware that some members did have problems with "lag" or couldn't get into the chat room at all so will be doing a test run first (with the team) to see if this problem still persists with the new site. If so, I will look into alternative live chat software that would still be integrated within SS so no need to log in.
Will keep you all posted of progress!
In the meantime, we (the team) would very much like for members to post here if you would be interested in live quizzes (of which anyone can host!) returning to Screwball Scribble on a regular basis at a time, day and even date of month to suit you. We are very keen to get this back on track as we all used to have a real laugh as well of course the "serious" side of participating in quizzes!

We have quite a few members from other timezones now and we are always willing to please everyone. As I mentioned in my post, there is absolutely nothing to stop members from hosting their own live quizzes at a time to suit all those in different timezones. We don't want anyone to miss out!

Just to keep you all in the picture, I haven't forgotten about adding a new Live Chat room to the site. I could quite easily add the one from our old site but as most of you experienced lag and connection problems, I won't lol. Still looking at others made specifically for phpBB (the site's software BB) but these are also in Beta stage and need bugs ironing out. So until then, we'll hang on 'till we know for definite that one can be added and is reliable and hopefully we'll be able to get those great live monthly quizzes up and running again!
