The date: 12 April 2010
The place: The Suites at 1 King West in Toronto

Quote:
What's Scrabble® With The Stars?

It's a signature fundraiser for Performing Arts Lodges, Toronto, a unique organization that offers help to performing arts professionals in the areas of health and affordable housing. Funds raised at the sixth annual Scrabble® With The Stars will fund the first steps towards providing assisted living care for PAL residents who can no longer live independently. This will allow residents whose failing health precludes independent living to remain among fellow pros with whom they share a common bonds while receiving the additional care they need.

Dine, mingle and play Scrabble with some of the Canada's most eminent celebrities. In past years we've welcomed Graham Greene, Michael Burgess, Margaret Atwood, R.H. Thomson, Jayne Eastwood, Gordon Pinsent, Colin Fox, Paul Soles, Austin Clarke, Jeanne Beker and Mark Breslin.

On April 12th, the game is the thing. But the rest of the year, the aim is the life, the health and welfare and spirit of our artistic community. They give us entertainment and food for thought. Let's give them our support!
